All About Credit Cards
Credit cards are a small piece of plastic that holds your details and can be used to pay for goods and services you purchase or use. A credit card is basically a line of credit that is extended to you by a bank or financial institution. The credit card will have a set limit on it that is the amount that you can spend either all at once or build up over several purchases.
When you use your credit card you will be sent a monthly credit card statement that will breakdown your expenditure for that month, your previous balance and what owes on the account. The credit card holder then has a choice. A credit card can be paid in full every month or your can choose to pay the balance of over a period of time. If you choose to pay it all at once and on time then you will not receive any charges and your credit score will improve with this kind of payment. If you choose to pay over a period of time than you can pay a minimum payment. Paying this way will incur an interest charge that will be a set rate on your account. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Credit_cards
